Annual Review of the MNDRIA - Dec 2006 [PDF 304KB] MND DNA BANK An Australia-wide DNA Bank was set up in 2000 to look for a genetic susceptibility to Motor Neurone Disease. The collection of DNA is the first step to finding the cause and potential cure for MND. The DNA Bank is a research project headed by Dr Roger Pamphlett. Dr Pamphlett practises as a Neurologist and a Neuropathologist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He also teaches undergraduate and postgraduate Neuropathology and Neurology at the University of Sydney and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Dr Pamphlett's main clinical interest is in patients with Motor Neurone Disease, and he runs a weekly Research and Care MND Clinic for patients with this disorder.
